Before I go on about the last gif in the tags, let me just talk about THEIR FACES in the first gif. Because.
- she smiles, and it’s this excited, nervous,
- EXCITED smile
- and he’s watching her
- and when she first moves in a little he squints at her a tiny bit like,
- ‘oh, really?’
- like he’s surprised and intrigued
- and then his smile fades a tiny bit as he leans in
- because now he sees where it’s going
- and he likes it
- and then they kiss
- and okay, it’s not like the most spectacular kiss of all kisses, but it’s sweet and they just fit together really nicely
- and she’s just thinking, ‘I’m gonna do it, I’m gonna do it, I’m gonna do it’ and she does and it’s nice and he kisses back
- there’s this teeny little moment where she realizes that in the middle
- it’s not just this tiny little peck on the lips, it’s a real, two-person kiss
- see, he tips his chin out a little bit at the end
- like he’s about to change angles and keep going
- but she pulls back because she was on her tiptoes and she couldn’t quite balance like that
- not like, oh, our kiss made my ankles weak, but like, she’s in heels and it’s hard to balance on your toes while kissing a tall man okay?
- so there’s this pause and she looks up at him and her face is so fantastic like, ‘well?’
- AND HIS FACE
- HIS FACE IS JUST
- OH
- and his whole face gets a little dark and a lot intent and he steps back in
- (whilst grabbing her around the waist, which is freaking beautiful)
- AND THEN THE MOST SPECTACULAR KISS OF ALL KISSES HAPPENS
- AND THERE’S MOUTHS OPENING AND HANDS EVERYWHERE
- SORRY WESTLEY AND BUTTERCUP, THEY BEAT YOU
